Obviously they have replaced
the Xenon lamp assembly with an LED Lamp Assembly. As you can see from
the above specification, the New LED versions output 80 Lumen compared
with the 65 Lumen of the G2 and 6P and run for an amazing 12 hours on
the G2 LED and 11 on the 6P
LED. I'm trying to find out why the 6P doesn't last as long but
at 11 hours compared with just 1 hour....
I have lots of police and military customers and I know they will love
these new version and will save them a small fortune in battery costs!

In a nutshell
these are ear plugs.. BUT the EarPro EP 3's don't stop the noise
at all. What they do is reduce loud noises but let you hear normal noises....
very clever.
My first though
was the military application but then when you really start to think about
it, the Surefire EP3 Sonic Defenders would be great for someone who work
in a night club, building site, parents
with a screeming kid!!! It think this could be the ultimate
present for new parents across the world! You can still hear
the baby but it doesn't burst your ear drums. People who work at concert
venues. We've all left a loud concert and had ringing in our ears for
days after.... not with these! When I read the spec I though "Great,
but how much will these cost!?" £12.99
